I can’t believe I hadn’t seen this before
Like actually… how did this pass me by?
Because this isn’t just a vampire film — it’s something else entirely

It’s slow.
Not boring slow… intentional.
Everything lingers.
The looks, the tension, the conversations… even the silence.
And that’s what makes it hit.
There’s something deeply… intimate about it.
Not in a loud way — in a quiet, almost uncomfortable way.
You can feel the loneliness in it.
The need.
That constant pull between wanting connection and being completely detached from everything
And yeah… the undertones are there
It doesn’t scream it.
It doesn’t need to.
It’s just… present.
In the way they look at each other.
In the way everything feels a little bit too close.
Beautiful, but heavy.
That’s the best way I can describe it.
It’s not a film you just watch — it kind of sits on you after
And I think that’s why it works so well.
Because it doesn’t try too hard.
It just lets you feel it.
Some films end.
This one just… stays with you
